Automatically track your sleep from your Apple Watch*. No buttons to press. Even the Watch app is optional! Just sleep! About AutoSleep ----------------- Using Advanced Heuristics AutoSleep works out how long you've slept so you don't have to. If you DO wear your Watch to bed, you don't need to do a single thing. AutoSleep will track your sleep & quality and send you a notification in the morning once you unlock your iPhone. Even if you don't wear your Watch to bed, AutoSleep can track your time in bed. It's extremely simple. If you DON'T wear your Watch to bed, then simply put your Watch on charge just before you go to sleep. As soon as you touch your iPhone or put your Watch back on in the morning then AutoSleep will know that you have finished sleeping. A handy Today Widget lets you see how your own "batteries" are charged for last night and the previous seven days. A second (entirely optional) widget lets you also track the time you have taken to fall asleep. As everyone is a little bit different. AutoSleep provides a simple setup wizard and an option to tweak if you are a very restless sleeper. If you wear your Apple Watch to bed*, AutoSleep will also analyse your sleep quality. By using time asleep, restlessness, time awake and heart rate it can score the quality of your sleep and provide you with a comprehensive nightly analysis. *Note. If you do not wear your Watch to bed, AutoSleep simply captures the amount of time sleeping. AutoSleep also works with HeartWatch our premier heart & activity monitoring app and writes your Sleep information to Apple Health. *Requires Apple Watch running Watch OS 3.2 or higher. WatchOS 4.2 recommended.

  • One of the most in-depth sleep apps...

I’ve been using this app for around 3 weeks, and it is probably one of the most in-depth sleep trackers on the App Store today. Other sleep apps such as Pillow on the App Store offer similar services, but if you’re looking for something to track your sleep just by going to bed, you’re in the right place. Optionally you are able to press the button on your Apple Watch to tell the App you’re going to bed and it will tell you how long it takes to fall asleep at night. If you’re like me and don’t sleep very well (I’m disabled in a wheelchair) it is an interesting statistic to add to your Health data. Be advised though, if you are somewhat inactive during the day for example, sitting watching TV, playing a game on a laptop, or Xbox; the app may detect that through your inactivity “you are asleep” when you’re actually wide awake defeating a whole lot of baddies on that level you’ve been stuck on... but the app being as in depth as it is, allows you to go into your day and adjust accordingly, and instantly updates through your Health App on your next visit. I’ve found myself opening this app when I wake and comparing my sleep data to the previous days and being given some interesting information. Intuitive, in depth and a comprehensive app for your sleep data. Fantastic app for all kinds of sleepers.
  • Using the app to aid more sleep

Very useful to see how much sleep you get and to improve on sleep quantities.
  • Great app that rewards exploration

I am a sleep obsessive. I know that if I don’t get enough of the right kind of sleep it causes problems in my life way beyond feeling ‘a bit tired’. I’d kicked the tires of the Apple Watch a couple of times, but lack of native sleep tracking was important enough to me to keep me from the platform until such time that a credible solution arrived. In the meantime I was ok on another popular tracking platform playing the waiting game. The wait is over. This app is it. No question. Without going into all the features there are two crucial things that this app gets right. First is auto track. If this doesn’t work every time then it’s a non starter. As it’s called AutoSleep you’d expect it to be right. Right? Well it doesn’t disappoint. I’ve been using this a month now and its been bang on every single time. You can rely on this app. The second is information depth. It does a great job or surfacing the crucial information but even better it rewards exploration. There are numerous way to view and even tweak the data if you want to. Even after a month I don’t feel like I’ve fully mastered the features but I don’t feel penalised for it. I get he essential data quickly each morning. Then later when I’m noodling around I discover something more that just makes the experience richer. If I had to pick super picky I’d say the interface is a little heavy for my taste. But as the developer is walking the information density and feature discovery tightrope so well it’s a no brainer five star app.
  • Poor and inaccurate.

Continuous poor readings night after night. Contacted the help / support team who did make some helpful suggestions but to no avail. I’d avoid. I’ll be seeking my money back for this download.
  • Excellent app 👍🏻

Everything is automatic, no need to start and stop sleeping timer. The best sleep app I’ve tried yet!
  • Excellent App

I downloaded the App out of curiosity of how much ‘quality’ sleep I get - and this App gives me a good indication of this - it really is quite interesting!
  • Awful Graphical Interface

    By Randomhacks
This app does seems to collect good sleep data. But the interface and data presentation is perhaps the worst I have seen in a longtime. There is so much going on. Select a day, wooosh, on fly's the name of the day, up pops "Ok", then that pings off and up pops "Adjust?". It feels like the app developer has discover animations in their toolkit and used them for the sake of it. Strolling down a page gives endless complicated charts and then lists of buttons. This app needs a jolly good redesign. This is would get 5 stars. Perhaps less is more. I bet if they did a survey of their users they would find they use on 20% of the data presented.
  • Excellent Monitor

I’ve been using this app with my Apple Watch for nine days now and find it very helpful in understanding my sleep patterns with the very useful data this app provides. Thus enabling me to make informed adjustments to improve my sleep as a result.
  • Great little app

Easy to use- lots of data to look at but takes a slight bit of time to get used to.really like it
  • Not accurate

    By E17notes
I’ve been using it for about a month now. The functionality is good and it provides detailed information about deep sleep, heart rate etc - it’s just not accurate. There is an option to go in and edit or tweak the data but having to do it every morning as it hasn’t picked up the time that I am awake in bed kind of defeats the purpose. Even when I am using in my phone in bed at night it says that I am asleep. I am going to look for another option.
