Have been trying this out four three weeks now and it has yet to identify even the most common of plants. It would be quicker and easier to pop down to the reference library. Waste of money.
  • Useless - waste of time and money

Firstly - why do I have to give an email address to register for an identification app I just paid for?! Secondly super glitchy photo screen - the image it captures is not what is shown in the viewfinder. Thirdly the identification either never got past the spinner or suggested the complete wrong plant. Then the profile image imported from Facebook is also way oversized and goes over a bunch of text fields. I don't know how this got through apple app review!
  • Big fan!

Technology has been taking over and I vowed to get out more in fresh air as a way to rebel against this robot culture. However, artificial intelligence isn’t all bad. It’s been adding an extra level of excitement to my walks and now I have a new relationship to nature I wouldn’t have had access to otherwise. Thank you PlantSnap! Wonderful idea.

Rubbish waste of money the garden answer is a lot better. I tried a few easy plants didn’t recognise any of them. Like my money back!
  • Unrecognisable

    By Triff1
So far this app has failed to recognise one plant. Unimpressed.
  • Registration! Why?

    By Miserable fiddler
Just bought 5his app thinking it would be useful only to find it needs me to register. I am not happy about this and shall be applying for a refund.

    By Zarzalico
For some strange reason this App. requires a log in. Faced with the log in and register page you need to scroll down and click ‘register’. After you have done this it works. Easy to use, choice of take a picture or use you stored photos. Reasonably accurate, 60%, no doubt it learns from users choices and info so the App will improve over time.
  • Can’t use it.

    By Little Venom
Having bought it and registered I can’t log in as it says my email address is badly formatted. The email address is ok for every app I have including Facebook, my bank, mortgage, National lottery etc. The developer needs to sort his site out. Unfortunately unless logged in the app is unusable. Just need to get money back.
  • Useless so far

    By Dark Sedum
I didn't get an introductory email so I can't even log in to us this app whilst on holiday now, a complete waste of money
  • Useless

I'd say this app has identified 1 out of 10 plants or shrubs I have tried it with. An absolute waste of money.
