  • Absolutely love it!

    I absolutely love this app! It is packed with useful features. It has helped me keep track of my food and hit my goals for the last 5 months. I particularly like that it gives you a budget that changes according to your weight and your goals, that you can scan barcodes of foods and create your own recipes. I couldn’t recommend it enough for anyone who wants to start tracking what they eat or anyone who wants to lose some weight.
  • Great for keeping a record

    This app is great for keeping a record of your calorie intake and weight loss. It allows you to use the phone camera to scan barcodes and it recognises most foods. An advantage over the iPhone health app is that it allows you to record your weight in stones and pounds, rather than a decimalised fraction of a stone (which is really confusing). At the moment I'm unable to add any more foods to my list so either it has a bug or it's time for me to buy the Premium version.

    After paying 12 pounds per month to weight watchers for the last 18m and not getting very far, I decided to go for this free app. It was easy to set up and more intuitive than the ww app and I love the graph that is showing my weight slowly coming down. The messages of support and encouragement after completing a day’s log and sticking to target are excellent motivators; it is like having your own own personal life coach. The app also analyses what you are eating in terms of nutritional content and will even congratulate you for eating chocolate as part of your diet - fabulous. I have now upgraded to premium which will extract data from Strava and I can now see just what impact my exercising is having. Forget expensive subscription diets/shakes/red-green day’s/eat as much stodge and still lose weight diets. Just get this app and lose weight by monitoring what you put in your mouth and what you burn up! Simple!
  • Doesn’t update Apple Watch complication

    Good app and easy to use . However, calories do not automatically update on Apple Watch. This might seem trivial but is a vital function for me. Being able to glance at my watch and see calories was hugely useful. Now you have to open app on watch and wait for it to update. It used to work fine but now it’s much less intuitive. A real shame and probably time to use another app.
  • Not good for macros

    App great for food planning and calories, so good I paid for the premium as want to track macros (but won’t support Under Armour products) However this is not done well at all. Hidden in a ‘goals’ section (each macro separate) so not easy. Expected it to be on the main ‘today’ page, but that shows just the amounts and not the goal versus where you’re at. Annoyed as otherwise a good app but not worth paying for.
  • Helpful little app

    This is a really helpful app. It holds a lot of data, such as food types and brands and their nutritional value. It’s easy to use and I find it a really helpful tool. Every time I use it I lose weight because it does help me to be much more mindful of what I’m eating. It’s got encouraging little notifications and lots of features which I appreciate such as reading my phones pedometer to adjust calorie allowance etc. I’d defo recommend it as a useful tool.

    This is the easiest recording app I’ve come across. A lot of foods are scannable and if not are simple to pop in. The only downside is that challenges seem to be for premium members only - but overall would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to track their calorie intake :)
