Uber is a ridesharing app for fast, reliable rides in minutes – day or night. There’s no need to park or wait for a taxi or bus. With Uber, you just tap to request a ride, and it’s easy to pay with credit card or cash (in selected cities only). Whether you’re going to the airport or across town, there’s an Uber for every occasion. Uber is available in more than 500 cities worldwide – download the app and take your first trip today. Requesting your Uber is easy – here’s how it works: - Just open the app and tell us where you want to go. - The app uses your location so your driver knows where to pick you up. - You’ll see your driver’s picture and vehicle details, and can track their arrival on the map. - Payment can be made by credit card, cash (in selected cities only), Apple Pay, PayPal and more. - After the ride, you can rate your driver and provide feedback to help us improve the Uber experience. You’ll also get a receipt by email. Need a simple way to get from A to B quickly? Take uberX, our most affordable option for individual travel. Want to save money on your ride? Take uberPOOL – you’ll travel with other riders heading in the same direction, and enjoy a lower fare. Want a more exclusive experience? Take a high-end vehicle with UberBLACK. And there are even more options – whether you’re travelling with a big group or need a vehicle with accessibility features. The app could be easier to navigate; for example, contacting driver on phone and lodging a complaint. If the driver cancels you don’t feel you understand why. Again it would have been nice to navigate instinctively to see ones historical data. Thanks
  • Really dissapointed

Was told to F off by one driver and then overcharged. The second time i used it the app gave me false information and i missed my train. Appalled.

I wanted to cancel my driver when he did not turn up or answer my calls so I could get another driver to come to me and was unable to do so. Uber want to charge £5 for a guy that doesn’t turn up. Daylight robbery
  • Major flaws

I once waited half an hour for a taxi, during which the wait time went from 21 minutes to 19 minutes. The worst part was that I couldn't even cancel without being charged £4. How is that fair or practical in any sense!? You should at least be able to check which cars are nearby and their distance before making a booking.
  • Uber is the future

Uber has made black cabs and mini cabs (in London) entirely obsolete, it’s superior in every single way.
  • Absolutely brilliant

Uber is honestly the best cab app there is, it has given me so much freedom on an international scale. When I travel I can use it in most parts of the world. And no matter what the time is in the U.K. on a weekend night out in London I don’t have to worry about transportation because it’s honestly so reliable. Hands down best app there is for cabs. 🙌🏾
  • Awful app

    By Marengso
The app books your ride without your confirmation and you’re told your taxi is 23 minutes away yet you want to go straight away. No option to confirm before you know how far the taxi is when you cancel you’re charged a fee. The fees are very inconsistent they are even doubled when it’s busy and you’re can’t pre-book. For Stoke-on-trent on users I advise you not to bother with this app. I lost £7 for cancelling when I realised it was going to take too long and there was a another taxi that would do the service straight away. BAD APP.
  • No jobs in my community

    By Boby Pakistani
Uber making a lot of money from us and from drivers , but in return they are not creating and not providing jobs for local people. Only 10 or 20 people my be working with uber in birmingham (one million population city). On other hand an average size restaurant may have more than 20 people in staff. Is it fair game for my country UK and for my city??
  • User friendly
