With this app installed, your iPhone can serve as a remote control for the iPad apps "2Screens - Presentation Expert" or "2Screens LE" for switching among slides/tabs, moving the ‘laser pointer’, as well as enabling/suppressing display on the external screen when the iPad is connected with a projector or LCD monitor. 2Screens Remote communicates with the iPad presentation apps through Bluetooth. In this regard, the app works on iPhone 3G/3GS/4/4S/5 and 3rd/4th/5th generation iPod Touch which support Bluetooth 2.1. In addition, this app can also be run on all iPad models in case you would like to use iPad as a remote controller for another one. Please note that this app cannot be used on first generation iPhone and first/second generation iPod Touch. Starting from v1.6, Wi-Fi connection is supported. This app is NOT a general-purpose remote control for other iPad apps as it only works with the 2Screens apps. The app auto-disable idle timer when bluetooth connection is established so as to prevent losing connection with the Presentation app. There is an integrated speaker timer for keeping track of presentation duration. Please open this video on YouTube to see how it works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0emO1IClsRw . The app is provided as an universal app just in case somebody may like to use an iPad as a remote control.

  • endless issues

I don't normally write, or like, entirely negative reviews but I was so frustrated by this app I thought it was worth doing. I used it some years ago with moderate success and dug it out for a presentation tomorrow. I won't be using it. - bluetooth connection between already paired and connected devices (using the remote app) six inches away did not work without wifi - moving between tabs left my document as a series of black pages - on returning to it, my document had vanished so I had to re-import it - the 'shake remote to progress' feature I wanted, I couldn't find anywhere - the manual is a disaster. It's a typical 'if you understand the app, you will find your way round this manual but you won't need it if you know enough to find your way round' - the FAQ link takes you to an apple page about iPads and iCloud - nothing to do with the app Half an hour wasted by someone who actually used the app a few years ago and wasn't a complete novice. I'd be very wary of this -- it doesn't seem to work. Even if the bluetooth issue isn't the developer's fault, it dooms the remote control, and the other issues are enough to derail a presentation.

Would like a duplicate screen showing on iPhone with ability to zoom etc and maybe even annotate.
