  • Superb sound quality with advanced import functions

This app is my absolute top pick for best audio quality and import functionality. Have used with iPhones 4, 6 plus and SE. Superb reproduction of overtones; really shows up good and bad masters. Using wireless import function from MacBook. Works very well and I completely avoid iTunes.

  • Great app, latest update fixes layout problems

Four years on this app. is still my favourite for playing FLAC files. However if you have an iPhone 5, 5s or iPod touch the screen layout is not quite right. Track names overlay the track numbers. Suggest you wait for the next minor update. I'm sure it won't be long. I bought this in 2012 for use with my iPad, a CCK and various Fiio DACs. Now that my iphone will support a DAC I tried this app. but found it continually crashed out or got stuck in a mess of menus. The latest update fixes all of that. The app. looks good and sounds great.

Dear Flac Player Team, I have just purchase your player for iPhone from the iTunes store for £7.99. It’s the most expensive flac player I have so far yet but it doesn’t recognise cue files. As you know the vast majority of album available that has been transferred on flac files consists of one big file containing all the songs of a given album and one cue files that is used to split the song. The cue file is as such essential because without it you cannot select specific tracks or song from the album and you can only play the all thing. Can you advise if there is a way your player can recognise cue files? If not I would be grateful if you could refund my £7.99. Thank you R
  • Crashes

  • Was great but now completely useless

I've had this app for quite some time and all went well until iOS 8 hit my mobile, now even though the developer states it is ok with iOS 8 well believe me I cannot even play one Flac track, and before anyone suggests, I have reinstalled it closed down the iPad and have a total of three reinstalls all to no avail. It is worthless to me now
  • Flac player that won't play flac music files

Absolutely astonishingly bad app. Won't play music instead just crashes. Getting a refund, from this sub standard developer.
  • Best FLAC Player For iOS

Will play 24/96 but you'll need a portable Amp to and some top end earphones or headphones to make the most of the sound quality.

  • Waste of money

My short lived excitement at being able to play flac files through what I thought was a better method of playing than through a free app was due to this app being clunky to work with along with very frequent crashing of the app. If it was free then this would not be a problem however as the app was £6.99 the word rip off springs to mind. Apple I want a refund!!! How did Apple pass this one for sale??? On a brighter note this app plays flac files which sound amazing. My advice would be buy a free flac player because this one is not worth the money. Happy flac playing.
