  • Can’t see how to write tab

    By micky all stars 101
Website claim you can write tab using the app, but all it seems to do is play tab. Not much use.
  • Essential/11

Yep, essential tool for any guitarist. Handy note taking, easy import and export tools. Multitrack support and aids to help build your chops, including marking off sections for repeats. Get it now and subscribe to their blog for more tabs and lessons. A couple of bugs in the latest version. The 'About' screen adds another toolbar button, replacing 'About' with 'About Guitar Pro'. Using headphones in Music and then opening GP slows performance and won't play sound until headphones unplugged/app restarted. But otherwise my rating stands.
  • Dropbox Support

    By D_Harris02
Add support for reading files from a Dropbox account! Users want to be able to read files on the go from their computer, storing them online on apps such as Dropbox allow users to read these files anywhere. Adding this function to the app will increase usage.
  • Read only!

This app does not include the facility to create a score, although you can add GP files created on computer. So it's a companion app. There is a good range of files included but not listed by category or difficulty.
  • Most files don't work

    By RxKing
Only 2 of about 10 guitar pro files worked, having to download via a computer is SUPER annoying too. Weak.
  • Who do these people think they are?

    By Mmmmm736474
I liked this a lot for a while. Then at some point, if the app is running, I get its icon at the bottom of my lock screen and when I'm logged in, if I double-click the home button, there's a little message from guitarpro greeting me by name at the bottom of the screen. There is no option to switch off this behaviour, gp is not listed in the notification settings. Guys... branding other people hardware like this is out of order, will be uninstalling....
  • Go Guitar Pro

I've owned Pro guitar for a good few years now and enjoyed downloading pro tabs together with writing my own, my students can have my lessons e-mailed to them for use with the app or I can save down as a PDF and they can use a hard copy. I only upload my files to the app on my iPad and edit and compose on my PC. A must have for serious muse'os! Buy IT, I must say I've had no problems with it I can't use all the features but what the heck I can do everything I need to, so big thumbs up. Thanks guys!
  • Great practice tool

While not as good as the full blown desktop version it's great for when you're on the move. I particularly like being able to play along when I have BIAS or something running in the background. You can quickly transpose and slow down imported tab. The only downside I've found is the sound gets distorted when slowed down 0.4x or slower.
  • Nearly perfect

    By Wikaman1
Great app, very responsive and stable. Makes it possible to create guitar pro tabs on your phone which is pretty amazing. My only issue is that while you can copy tabs to the phone to play, you can't edit those tabs. Makes it impossible to carry on a tab that you started on PC, you have to start from scratch every time. Apart from that it's great 👌

The basics are good. Im sure there is abetter way to input notes. Its quite torturous. As a programmer i would add that you dont need all those confirmation steps n order to export or do stuff. A couple of steps should suffice.
