  • I wouldn’t waste your money

It’s a very tired platform and unfortunately it kind of resembles the selection of singles as well. There is a very shallow pool of people to talk to, and to be honest, there is very little benefit for your £59.99 when compared with free of charge Tinder.

The actual app is alright to use but there are quite a few glitches on here. I just can’t seem to find many matches for myself. This app is alright if you’re a man - plenty of well made girls but trying to find a half decent looking man is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. I wish I hadn’t of wasted my money!

It's no good if you're below 35 you only get men old enough to be your dad/grandad message you which is unsettling I have tried a few dating sites and this is by far the worst! The worst £30.00 ever spent.
  • Pointless and full of scammers

Only received Non stop scammers asking for gmail details and WhatsApp numbers. Reported lol the Match, they won’t confirm if deleted or not as it’s data protection rubbish! **Beware of the auto subscription too. Many have been scammed into thinking it a 6 month Service then you’ll be prompted to renew. Luckily I noticed and will be deleting this poor dying app as soon as. Total waste of time and effort. Better spending a fiver on a glass of wine and sitting in a pub, better chances. Good luck!
  • It feels like a scam

I know that Match.com is the most well-known online dating platform, but it is designed to milk its members. Every single strategy they take is at the service of taking money from their subscribers. I was under the impression that they would charge me a fee and then, it turned out they charged me almost double. The customer service is no where to be found. Be very careful when you interact with the app or website to avoid being ripped off.
  • Misleading

Even after you make an account and subscription via phone they don’t mention that they’ll keep charging to for that subscription even after you cancel the subscription, because they keep an PC based account that’s hidden.
  • Annoying you can't remove favourites

Not very user friendly. Unable to edit your favourites to remove ones added in error or during the initial registration process. Not impressed with my daily 100 selection, wrong age, locayion, ethnicity etc
  • Ignorant customer service

Avoid this at all costs, the customer service is very poor, you get stonewalled with party lines at every reply and they actually breach UK legislation when dealing with subscription refunds, better to stay well clear than use this app.

    Pretty pointless unless you pay
  • Don’t bother...

The trouble with match is that you can join for free, and a lot of people do. And then you have to pay to use the features, and most don’t bother. I found that almost all of my “matches” hadn’t been online for months. A search of who was online showed me a lot of familiar faces, from POF, surprise surprise... I found that as soon as I cancelled my subscription, the views of my profile stopped, then I reactivated it, the views came back immediately, and then I cancelled again and the the views stopped again. When I messaged the women who had viewed me, I didn’t get any replies. Lots of profiles with no info on them, fake perhaps? Save your money, don’t bother with match.com
