  • Nice GUI

The new look interface took a little getting used to. But it’s been well thought out and designed. Radical and risky move by Line 6, but I like it at lot.

iPhone X. Lots of pops and clicks, even with largest buffer size. Very high latency of around 1s even at smallest buffer size. Awkward with all of the 3 cables connected. Doesn’t work with AirPods connected to the iPhone. Very disappointed. Quitting and reopening the app seemed to fix the latency, but not the popping noises. Changing the audio buffer size seems to introduce latency until you quit the app and reopen it.

This is a pathetic and non user friendly update. It is un realistic and total crap. Please could you revert back to original or at least give us the option of doing so. Come on Line 6, you have a good product here but lousy software. Get it sorted soon! Still no update? Know something Line6? I haven’t used this since so I’m selling my Sonic Pod VX. It does not inspire me at all. There are far superior apps out there.
  • Old style

Like the other person, put back the old school amps and knobs back in the view. The new style doesn’t invite you to play around/adjust to find a decent sound(sliders),it’s unnatural....I want to see the amp and dials. Even though it’s unappealing to the eye the sounds etc are still fantastic..please change back..I would give 5 stars if it reverted back to the original view.
  • Way too crashy

UI is really bad, some elements just don’t work and most of the time it just crashes. Doesn’t make any UX sense either. Please hire a designer and some UX professionals for the next update.
  • To bad I can't give 0 stars

Since the version 2 the app is awful, really useless and with a kindergarten graphic.. Controls over the effects should improve, in this app no... No more connection to customtonelab... What can I say? I'll try to sell the sonic port as you decided to completely ruin a good app.. You could at least let people choose if they want the 1.7 or the 2.0
  • Works great with iRig HD2

Tried my iRig HD 2 with this today and it worked great. Better sound in my opinion than amplitube. Test your device works before you purchase the full app via an in app purchase. Just awesome!
  • 'They fixed it', now it's broken

The latest update made this app worse. The interface is awful. If you can edit settings on the fx pedals then it's not intuitive at all. Considering the sonic port unit cost me around £90 I find this to be more and more annoying as I use it. What's going on? It used to be really good before they made the app look like a toy
  • Sonicport for iPad 2

I've been using my sonicport religiously for 2 years and written so many songs using it. However just the other day it suddenly stopped working. The iPad wouldn't connect with it and only through trawling the internet did I find out that the sonic port for iPad2 was now obselete. No update to the app, no nothing. Just obselete.
  • How do I close this thing

Not as poor as others rated it, but Isis the have previous incarnations. But I can't get the blinking thing to close on my iPhone!!
