  • Brilliant 😊 app

So useful and easy to use, before, during and after shopping. Couldn’t be without it now - keeps all my fave recipes at my fingertips. Worth every penny! Thanks AnyList 👍🏻
  • Great time saver for a Weight Watcher

    By domestic.goddess
I used to spend hours planning meals, collating recipes and doing my shopping list. Now I can do it all in one place and it’s fab. Ok, it takes a bit of time entering new recipes but once they’re in they’re there. I would love to be able to copy and paste Weight Watchers recipes from their site but that’s their drawback not this app. Would be good if nutritional values of recipes could be generated from ingredients rather than having to input them but again, not a major issue. Love it!
  • Great App

Best means I have come across for making various types of list, especially as I can share lists with family so that any of us can add something to a list. I also like the recipe facility and the ability to add the ingredients to a shopping list. Love it.
  • Great app - works well with Alexa

Excellent app that works really well with Amazon,s Alexa. Add things to your shopping list, or create your own lists with ease. This app has tons of functionality I haven,t explored fully yet. Recommended 5*
  • Free app plenty good enough for us

    By Lurch1969
We’ve used free AnyList for a few years. It’s ideal for the basic shared shopping list, being better for this than general list managers like Trello because it does exactly one thing. The additional features of the paid version do appeal but the annual cost is a bit high. I’d happily pay £10 one-off fee but not nearly that annually, I’m afraid.
  • Room for improvement

    By nightowl7832
Good categorizing, but other areas need improvement: Option to strike off items by swiping right on them, as the touch option is too sensitive and items are deleted by accidental touches. Disaster. Please don't strike through items crossed off as it makes them harder to read when adding again. Put them in a different color, eg red. The layout is too cluttered and congested. There should be an option to hide the top and bottom bars when they are not in use. Only the shopping list should be visible in a nice clean way, nothing else. The background of different categories in different light colors. This will make them more distinct and make the app much more visualy pleasing.
  • Solid

Heard about this from a podcast and it’s pretty nice, now sharing lists with the family for shopping and it couldn’t be easier.
  • One of my most used apps

    By canoejohn
I would thoroughly recommend this app to anyone. My wife and I use it to keep track of our shopping list - when one of us visits the supermarket, we know exactly what to get. We also use it for holiday packing, Christmas lists and much more. Well worth the modest upgrade cost.
  • Superb app - saving me time and money

    By Walfd
Love the fact that all the family can see and add to shopping list (works with Alexa and Siri too!). Shopping list is categorised saving time in shops. Now using it to create packing lists so the family can do their own packing for breaks. Location based reminders is an excellent feature. Best bit...when hubby asks ‘what’s for tea’ I can email him the recipe so he can start cooking it too :-).
  • Reviewing Upgrade App which includes extra functions.

I like to be organised & love this list app. I have bought the upgrade & although it seems expensive compared to other apps, I had the cost back in a couple of weeks as I no longer over buy at the supermarket. You can set up & customise lots of lists. One of mine is a Pantry List, which helps me keep track of my herbs, spices, oils etc so I can see what ingredients I need to buy for new recipes whilst away from the house. Yesterday I hadn’t had time to make a shopping list before leaving the house. But I was able to use the app to choose recipes, set meal plans, check & download the ingredients I needed on to my shopping list & then from my favourites add all the routine shopping items I required for the week. All accomplished in 10 minutes. Brilliant for downloading recipes within seconds, including picture, ingredients (which you can then select individual items to add to your shopping list) & step instructions. You can even add your own recipes, including downloading photos, so I now use this more than cook books. You can customise your shopping list so that the categories are in the order of your supermarket which is useful. Other types of lists I have set up is a Holiday Packing list & a To Do list! The app providers also give ongoing support. I asked a question via their help & received an email back the following day with a step by step explanation on how to do it.
