  • Utterly useless

As I play notes on a guitar, the frequencies displayed are all over the place and bear no resemblance to the frequencies being played. I want my money back. Sometimes the app displays zero Hz, and no amount of button pressing gets it to work!
  • Accuracy not that great.

It's ok but I've found it to be around 10hz out on most readings.
  • Accuracy not that good

Initially I liked the look of this app but with use have found it far to inaccurate for my purpose. The description gives +/- 0.5% which sounds reasonable, however this is a range of 1%. The reality is when you tune a note the frequency displayed will remain unchanged then jump to the next nearest approximation. Hope that the developers resolve this in the next update.

Needed an accurate frequency tester so that I could tune my guitar to various frequencies. When tuning my A string to 440hz then 444hz this reader detects both as 452hz... totally wrong. Money back please !!!

The app was purchased to help a young student with a physics project. She made a drinking straw flute and took readings of frequency and length of straw as the straw was repeatedly shortened. The device gave precise readings to two decimal places and repeat readings were identical. We were delighted. My only negative points are that jt comes without instructions and I have to reset my audio settings to start it.

Great App. If instructions are included in update I'll be back to give it 5 stars. A quick e-mail with a prompt response set me right and I'm up and running. Recording is a great feature which has come in really handy.

Used it to check single tone frequencies and it worked well. Accuracy was good & fell within + or- 5 Hz compared to a much more expensive pc based programme which also gave harmonics' frequencies & a graph. More details / instructions would be useful, hence the msiising star, since apart from determining frequency of sound, it is not clear what other functions this offers, or indeed how to use the other buttons, Lastly - future upgrades could increase the size of the data presentation screen. Too much space on iphone screen currently used up by by yellow / black area around data presentation area.
