Description

Grade Hound helps you manage your classes, organize your assignments, and track your grades. With Grade Hound, you’ll always feel ahead. Why should you use Grade Hound? • Grade Hound tracks your grades with precision. When viewing an upcoming assignment, you’ll be told exactly what grade you need to either achieve the next letter grade in the class, or maintain your current one. For example, if you have an 88% in a class, Grade Hound might say something like, “You need a 93% on this assignment to achieve an A in the class”. Both point and percent based grading systems are fully supported. You’ll also be presented with a slider that you can drag to test what your class grade would be if you get a certain score on the assignment. • When viewing a grade, you’ll see exactly how much it counts towards your final grade in the class. You’ll also be presented with a slider that you can drag to test what your class grade would be if you had gotten a certain score on the assignment. • Grade Hound is highly customizable. It fully supports both point and percent based grading, custom letter grade cutoffs, custom units for each class, weekly and block based scheduling, custom GPA schemes, per class customizable assignment types, per term and per class start and end dates, and more. • See a detailed graph of your grade history on a per-class basis. • Track completed assignments, organized by the date you completed them. • Search all of your assignments by name, class, type, or note. More Features • Add semesters/quarters/trimesters and track your GPA. You can specify custom GPA scales on a per-class basis. You can also specify how many units each class is. • Add classes, notes, and grades. You can specify custom grading scales and custom assignment types on a per-class basis. You can mark events complete right from notification center, or tap one to launch Grade Hound right into an event. • Get morning and/or evening digest notifications. • Not free if you need anything useful

This claims it is free, to add more than 2 classes to the timetable, you need to pay £5.99. So I've deleted and I'll stick with my free diary. Besides that it seemed fairly convenient and easy to use, just annoyed that it was misleading.

Great app. Easy to use. Really neat that it can be synced across all platforms. Better than iHomework or any other calendar app. Helps me keep really organised (not my best part of school.) Would be really nice if there was an app made for Mac. Otherwise fully worth the money.

How did this get recommended on iTunes? It is clear that when iTunes feature an app they look for an iOS 7 appeal. Too many app developers are designing apps off the back of an iOS 7 colour scheme and font design to get featured. It works but iTunes obviously don't look at the app and it's usability. This app looks great on your iOS setup but really? Lacking in personality, graphics and student appeal this is a over the top extended calendar. No week A or B like most schools, took me 20 minutes to add 5 classes then I simply couldn't be bothered. Some of the chosen graphics and colours can't be read against the background. Menu system is clunky and tedious. Students want a quick timetable system with icons, visual appeal and more like a school planner. Every page looks the same. Please stop designing for iOS 7 and design for your user. Much better out there for the price, try Exam Pal, istudiez pro or school planner +.

I use it to organise and keep track of my classes. It looks neat and simple which is a thumb up from a neat freak like me. Easy to use. I can change the assignment type to match with each class's grading policy which is great. The only thing I don't like is the colour.I love it to be more vibrant!

The design is nice, I'll give the app that... However unfortunately it's lacking in almost every area. It doesn't do the things it's meant to most of the time, and the number it gives you can be very inaccurate. But it has a lot of potential. The controls also aren't very intuitive, and a few times I've become lost in the app trying to work out how to do something. Really would not recommend...

Does most things that you may expect from it. Nothing special.

Nice clean app, that allows you to organise your timetable with your assignments. But it's a shame that the app is buggy in the fact it's stop showing what I have today and keep notifying me about class I don't have at that time.
