Please note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. ___________________________________________ Follow @busexpert on Twitter for the latest on updates and new features. For London it is very fast and accurate. Haven't used it outside London yet.

I travel around England and Wales for 6 months every year. This app is great for finding routes and times to out of the way places. Just like a satnav you also have to use your common sense!

I've used the Reading version of this for years, and the country-wide version is just as good. London transport is great, and other areas have generally been very reliable. Of course, this app isn't magic: it relies on the underlying data providers (transport companies) being accurate. Outside of problems with the data providers, the app is fast, intuitive, and gives clear answers.

Since the last update with more great improvements, this is one of the best apps I've ever had and easy to use

This app has much improved over time and is now pretty much excellent from my point of view. The addition of train information is making this app likely to be the only one I need for my public transport needs in the UK. With regard to the train info it would be great if the journey planner search boxes recognised the three-character 'CRS station codes' for station names, as used in quite a few rail apps these days (and widely within the rail industry itself). For example: DVP = Dover Priory, IPS = Ipswich, GLQ = Glasgow Queen Street. Every station on the network has one, and it makes entering searches very much quicker and easier once you know the codes for the stations you use.

I'm very pleased with this app. I use it all the time and have not been let down so far. A great improvement on the previous version... although I used it a lot too. Easy to figure the time of my bus if I'm out for tea. Well impressed.
