Description

Newton is a subscription-based service that supercharges your email with power features like Read Receipts, Snooze, Send Later, Undo Send, Sender Profile, Connected Apps and more across iPhone, iPad, iPad Pro, Apple Watch and Mac. Comes with a 14-day free trial. Newton is available as an in-app subscription for $49.99/yr. That’s about $4/mo for something that you use dozens of times everyday. Works with Gmail, Exchange, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail/Outlook, iCloud, Google Apps, Office 365 and all IMAP accounts. **Newton Mail now has a companion - Newton Calendar. Download the app, and all your events/calendars will sync automatically. Works with Google and Exchange (EWS) calendars.** *What Happens After 14 Days* Power features like Read Receipts, Tidy Inbox, Send Later & more stop working. Email sync will also stop and the experience will continue to degrade further. *Sign Up Once, Use Everywhere* Your Newton account is your key to all things Newton. Use it to instantly access your email anytime, across ALL your devices - be it iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch or Mac. Email preferences & settings are synced magically on every device, without having to set up your account all over again. *Why Newton is the only email app you need* ● Read Receipts - Get read-status for every email you send. Also get notified as soon as the email is read. Know exactly who read your email with individual mail tracking. ● Send Later - Schedule emails to be sent later and have them delivered to the recipient’s inbox at just the right moment. Also, you can stop the scheduled email if the recipient sends a mail in between. ● Tidy Inbox - Focus on emails that matter. Weed out newsletters and social media emails to another folder and make your inbox distraction-free. Think Gmail tabs for all email accounts. ● Sender Profile - Know more about the people who email you. Get job titles, organisation info, location, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter profiles & more. ● Snooze - Set your emails to come back to Inbox at a more convenient time. Snooze emails, not productivity. ● Connected Apps - Finish your workflow without leaving your email. Add important emails to your favorite productivity apps like Todoist, Evernote, OneNote, Pocket, Trello, Wunderlist, Instapaper & more. ● Undo Send - Pull back that email blunder you just sent. Especially useful when you’re on mobile and need to reply in a hurry. ● Instant push notifications for ALL types of email - Gmail, Hotmail/Outlook, Exchange, Yahoo Mail, iCloud, Google Apps, Office 365 and any IMAP account. ● Save attachments to your favorite cloud storage service like Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, OneDrive etc. with ease. But wait...there’s more! - 2-factor authentication - One-click Unsubscribe - Custom Inbox Swipes - iPad Pro support - Handoff - HTML signatures - Email Aliases - Print emails - Turn on/off Conversations - Touch ID - Easy on battery and data - Custom Folder Sync - Spotlight Search - Interactive Notifications - 3D Touch - Remote Wipe - Passcode Lock - Unified Inbox - Available in all major languages Newton is available as an in-app subscription for $49.99 per year. • Ridiculously overpriced

A nice enough email app, but charges a ridiculously overpriced annual subscription for, what are now, pretty standard “super-chargers” - tracking/read-receipts, snooze, undo send. I’m happy to pay a fee for great apps and upgrades (eg Things 3, Airmail etc), but a subscription model for an e-mail client is crazy. The developers clearly know this, as during the course of my trial I was offered a 20% discount on a number of times, and even a 50% discount when my trial expired. While you can technically still use the app after the trail period, the devs have made it as awkward as possible, with pop-ups prompting you to subscribe every time you do anything in the app. There’s also a big persistent yellow banner at the top of your inbox.

I've tried almost every email app out there, and keep coming back to Newton. Its minimalist interface is mercifully unfussy, clearly indicating which account is which by colour coding. Its message-read tracker is easy to see and, importantly, accurate (something which not all such trackers are, I've discovered). It includes a swipe feature for marking as spam, again all too rare even in otherwise sophisticated apps. A wide range of snooze options - very useful for speedy inbox-triage - and I appreciate being able to send later at a time that's most likely to catch the recipient's eye. All round excellent, reliable app which syncs well with the desktop version. Worth every penny of the subscription, which works or at only about a coffee a day.
  • Far from perfect

It’s not a bad app but it’s not perfect and so not worthy of the hefty price tag. It offers a unified inbox, but to see snoozed or starred emails you have to go in to the individual accounts and if you’ve got several, then it’s a real pain. There’s very little in the way of customisation; you can’t even turn on avatars for example. The read receipts and other touches are nice, but some of the basics are still missing. The desktop app, whilst appealing to my minimalist taste, is too barebones. Having to make an action to view the sidebar is an annoyance. Overall not worth the £50 a year.

I know it has to compete with the usual free email readers but this does so much more. I particularly like the skill in Amazon Alexa that allows me to have my emails read to me and deal with them accordingly.
  • Mis sold packages.

Warning. This is a con. The company have cheated people out of their accounts in the past, forcing them to not receive emails. This meant people had to pay or walk away. All this with no prior notice. I stood my ground and thought why not stick. I've asked other businesses to join their free account. It was never made clear to me that the free account does not sync emails. Therefore the free account doesn't even do email. This is now a subscription only, no freebies service. I was massively mis-sold and am financially wounded. Well done team. You are the worst app I've ever had. Wow!
  • Great search and timed reminders

I use this mainly as you can send an email and say ‘remind me in 3 days if nobody replies’, or snooze this email for 3days etc. Offline usage is a bit limited, and it doesn’t yet support ios11 drag and drop, which would be really useful, when that happens it’ll be 5star!

100% best email I've ever used and I've trialled a fair few over the years. Very easy to use and has some fantastic tools. Great for social and professional accounts. Will recommend to my staff. Thanks

A great inbox app for managing all my different email accounts. Newton works great with both Zendesk & Asana, which I love, I just wish the mobile version would allow landscape!
