DOWNLOAD, UPLOAD, AND MANAGE FILES ON YOUR SERVERS. Includes Panic Sync, our secure, super sync service — for FREE. ABOUT If you're a pretty serious nerd like us, you probably have access to an FTP, SFTP, WebDAV or Amazon S3 server that you use for, say, web serving, group collaboration, as a personal cloud storage service, or who knows what. Transmit for iOS allows you to connect to that server and manage all your files, exactly as you'd expect. Transfer. Make folders. Rename. Delete. Set Permissions. You know how it works, and Transmit does it. But it gets a lot better. Thanks to the power of iOS, Transmit will also extend the standard iOS Share sheet — the one you see in, say, Photos or Voice Memos, when you tap the Share button — to include a brand-new Transmit button. That means you can now share your Photos directly to your SFTP server, or share a podcast voice memo straight to Amazon S3. It's incredibly powerful. And there's one more cool iOS thing: in compatible applications, like iWork, you can Open a document directly off your server. And when you hit Save, it will silently and perfectly upload back to your server. In other words, you can use your server as your own seamless cloud storage. Amazing. We're just getting started. FEATURES • Full Remote File Management Log in to your server. Upload. Download. Rename. Edit permissions. Make folders. Do it all. • Save & Upload Files from the iOS Share Sheet You can quickly send an image from your Photos, an audio file from Messages, or any iOS app that uses the standard system "Share" sheet, to your Mac or server. • Connect to FTP, SFTP, S3, DreamObjects and WebDAV Full support for Transmit's entire suite of protocols is now available to iOS users. • Twin-Turbo Background Transfer Engine The full power of Transmit's transfer engine is available, even while Transmit is in the background. • The Joy of Drag & Drop Why do no iOS apps use drag and drop? We wondered that too. Especially satisfying on the iPad — with Local files on the left and Remote on the right, it's smooth as silk to drag over a file. • Edit Documents from Compatible Third-Party Apps Third-party applications that implement the iCloud document picker have instant access to Transmit as a file source. Opening and saving files in these apps will relay changes back to Transmit to be uploaded onto your server. • Panic Sync You can sync your saved servers and credentials with Panic Sync, and keep them updated between Transmit for iOS, Coda for iOS, and Coda for Mac (requires Coda 2.5). Stay tuned for support in Transmit for Mac. YOU ARE NOW YOUR OWN CLOUD. WE HOPE YOU ENJOY TRANSMIT FOR iOS.

  • Not happy now !

    By diarbyrag
Great app but apparently not generating enough profit so is to be binned soon. Had enough of Cabel and co. Obviously Transmit will still be working as it is part of the expensive coda app. I presume if not for sale then will no longer be able to download it when I get a new iPad ? So do we get a discount on coda then ??
  • Brilliant for sending photos to clients

As a photographer who has been using Transmit on a Mac for a very long time I find this to be the best FTP client on iOS devices for my needs. Not only does it work really with the iOS11 Files system but it can output straight from Lightroom CC too. Possibly the best bit is the sync between the Mac OS version which transfers all of you favourite server settings to this version and vice-versa. If all of that isn’t enough, Transmit has proved to be ultra-reliable on both the iPad and iPhone. 5*
  • Desktop with mobile

Now I can count on being able to grab a file from my desktop Mac/PC whilst I’m out and about. Thanks for the update to iPhone X layout.
  • Does not work..

By Rudenoiseluvvet iOS 11. It just quits on launch. The macOS version works perfectly on my mac mini.
  • Great app but ugly icon

    By Hometechgeek
I love this app across my Mac and iPhone. But why is the icon so ugly, just reuse the cute truck from the Mac version please!
  • Stops transfers when backgrounded

    By aCertainBru
In a somehow glaring ommission for a supposedly professional app, it seems to be unable to continue transfers while in the background. Instead after a while you get a "foreground this app to ensure transfers are not interrupted" notification, and if you ignore it, the app resets completely. No ability to resume the interrupted transfer, nothing. It's like the transfer never happened. I just lost hours on a transfer today because of that. Add to that the strange blackened interface and weird navigation, not to mention the inability to sync settings and bookmarks between devices (unless you register for some proprietary service from Panic) means I find it very hard to find good things about this app.
  • Transmit

Very disappointed in the app with it being on a black background it is very hard to read. Plus the instructions are not very clear. I am struggling with this app
  • Works well with Voice Over

    By JJPG52106889
This app is great. Perfect for the FTP sites I use. Love how well it works with Voice Over. :)
  • Very close to not being almost useless.

    By brewerdan
It would be a fine app if they changed one thing: when the transfer dialog is show stop the auto lock of the device. I have tried to copy things to/from servers but unless I sit there tapping the screen every couple of minutes the phone will go to sleep and the transfer will fail. I know I could disable the auto-lock feature but I do not want to and I know that other apps can keep the phone awake on certain views.
  • Poor support and documentation

    By Rasathus
Purchased solely for the AWS S3 support. Unable to get s3 support working without providing access to every bucket in my account. App terminology does not match with AWS. Tried emailing support, and have not heard back after several weeks.
