  • Standard

I’ve been playing for about a week, and this is a pretty standard build-and-conquer with an interesting historic twist. Who doesn’t like vikings? The reason that I am giving this three and not 4-stars is purely the build time. From a lot of second-level builds, you need to boost to build quickly (or wait, of course!). That means pretty slow progress at the start and honestly this is causing me to lose interest rapidly. Also, time boosts don’t seem particularly plentiful, which contributes to the above. I expect I’ll be playing for about another week, but if anything changes, I’ll update :)
  • Good but...

Been playing for well over 2 years and it’s fun but can end up costing you money it drags you in. Also despite it being vikings don’t believe the game shots as there’s no ships at all, which is ironic seen as it’s a Viking game!
  • Addictive

I Downloaded this game as it was Advertised in a F2 Freestylers video and I find this very fun, I have played Game of War for years and to come to a different layout game, it's fun. The reason for the 4 star is once u get big at the game I know your forced to buy stuff to stay strong.
  • Game reliability and support issues

What could be a great game is ultimately ruined by Plarium. I have played for around a year now and the server stability seems to get worse with every update. I have no issue with pay to play mentality of the games and I spend a lot on my gaming every week. My issue with this platform is that every time there has been a server issue we are in the middle of a battle or there is a glitch that stops you attacking. You sometimes have paid real money for premium boosts and they simply time out as you cannot do anything or the server has to restart. I have written a highly detailed complaint on this with screenshots, locations, times and dates of various server issues only to receive a response that they have no issue and I need to check my connection and latency. If I was the only plaintiff I would understand such a response but when these issues have occurred it has been all across kingdom chat from thousands of players, yet they still have the cheek to deny everything. The fact that they had to restart all the servers 3 times in the middle of a global competition recently screams out they are admitting fault to me. One of the players (luckily for me was enemy) was locked out of the game as he was caught in this glitch for hours. When the servers restarted he lost all his troops (retail value of thousands of UK pounds) as others managed to get back into the game before he could get on and apply shield. All of these incidents are dismissed by Plarium and they will not even give the smallest compensation in boosts etc for their errors as they would rather lose players than admit fault. When you have invested money and are more developed in an older kingdom you will rarely get new players as they will choose to play new servers. Ultimately your kingdom will die off and your town that you have invested all that money in will be isolated in that kingdom. Think carefully before you spend on here. There are many other platforms out there that do not live in denial. As they all have faults time to time. When I have played other games and lost from sever error I have got a much better customer service and compensation of items (which costs them NOTHING is the craziest thing). They would rather breed bad feeling than a positive game environment. Developer bot, don’t even bother replying to this please, it’s just factual information for future players. Be warned

After response review: Thanks for your response. I would refer to the recent mess up caused from your side which effected every player in the game. We have lost billions of resources and troops and most importantly trust in the game. We enjoy playing Vikings and spend money on the game happily but when problems like this happen and Plarium is given a chance to correct their mistake all you reply is something robotic just like in this example and a hundred that I can relate to with my co players. If you genuinely care and acknowledge your fault and would like to improve your services to give us all a good gaming experience, don't you think a better place to start from would be to first correct the mess up that effected thousands of players and how Plarium did not compensate them for their losses. A lot of players have quitted the game and loss faith in Plarium's resolution team and many more that I know of are planning to quit. These players are all big spenders and have all been playing for a few years now. We don't expect any freebies or money from you, we just want you to give us in game gold or troops etc to cover for our genuine losses otherwise everyone is feeling like we are getting robbed or hustled. You might not care loosing all your existing players due to lack of customer satisfaction or resolution but when google and apple gets hundreds of complaints then they will think twice about launching your games on Apple Store and Google play. I hope you can come to a fair solution for all your players. Thanks 1st review: I have been playing this game for nearly 3 years and have several accounts with a lot of money spent. Plarium is focusing on new kingdoms and more players which I believe is the reason for bad server, bad connection, shields dropping by itself and many glitches and bugs but the worst part is Plarium not acknowledging or owning to those mistakes. Plarium just expects you to continue playing and paying for a mistake caused by themselves. Faulty product under CONSUMER ACT.

Wow, Usually games like this are not so good. And I only got his one because of Bobby Burns and I’m actually pretty hooked. Can’t find any flaws yet so, yeah, good game
  • Underhand and manipulative pricing

    By eljay55
This game is interesting, exciting and strategic. A great way to build skills in negotiating and team work too. But their pricing for boosts is underhand and manipulative. My partner and I both play this game. He bought a 4.99 boost in his first week, while I bought a 19.99 boost. I have now only EVER been offered 19.99 or 48.99 boosts since whilst he consistently has the option of 4.99 boosts for the same items!!! We did not discover this until comparing our game boosts and I happened to mention I thought the game was over priced. Basically if you buy a higher cost boost you will only ever be offered higher price boosts. A totally manipulative and unfair system that in no way rewards those who do buy boost regularly. So if you don’t want to be out a fortune DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME!! You can’t win or get anywhere in it without purchasing a boost from time to time. .
  • Sexist?

Why does the trailer for this game depict a woman failing and being rescued by two men?
