  • Great idea, but keeps crashing

Really good idea, and I would use this all day problem is the app keeps crashing as I try to load food. If any of the big groceries firms added this to their existing food purchase apps I would only shop in that store.

It was a year since the last review. Nothing has changed. No UK barcodes work. I guess the developers... put this app on ice?...
  • Just what I wanted but riddled with bugs.

    By Mefootie
Yes, the barcode scanner doesn't work in the UK and having read other reviews I was aware of that. However, I was prepared to key in food manually so I downloaded. The main issues are the badge icon displays the incorrect amount of items, the widget doesn't work at all which was a major reason why I chose the app, and the number of days to notify you before the use by date is almost upon you doesn't work accurately either. More disappointingly, the developer chooses not to reply to my email for assistance.
  • Great idea, but...

The idea behind the app is great - I hate wasting food but often find some rotting substance hidden at the back of the fridge. I saw that the app had an ability to scan the barcodes but, before I had a chance to use it, the app was updated and the ability to scan has disappeared. Based on the other reviews it seems that the barcode information is only for the US. I guess the barcode functionality is still available at the US App Store. So I'll keep the app in the hope that UK barcodes will be supported but, until then, I probably won't be using it.
  • U.S. Only

Inspired by the blurb. Set to, with contents of fridge. Date today 26th Jan 2016. Date of expiry 2nd Feb 2016. Scanned barcode. App told me item had already expired. Same for every item. Looked up reviews. They were in dollars. Yup, it's for the USA only. If only it worked with UK barcodes. ☹
  • Doesn't work

This maybe because I'm in the UK but every barcode I showed the scanner ran out on today's date. Yes I checked to see they didn't! Great idea tho. Shame.
