  • Close but not close enough

I’ve enjoyed playing around with this app but found the limitations so frustrating that it’s hard to imagine returning to iMaschine 2 until the necessary improvements are implemented. Whilst the drum sequencing is extremely flexible, the whole product is let down by the absence of piano roll for any elements of a track requiring keys. If timing is even slightly out, the results are immediately self evident. Given that this can be so easily rectified in the desktop version of Maschine, it seems ridiculous that this vital editing functionally is omitted from the iOS version. Please fix in a future update for a five star review
  • Not good at all

    By Brophster
The biggest problem with this is lag! (latency) which for a drum machine is a BIG problem. Why would anybody want to hit a pad but near the audio half a second later? It makes performing and recording impossible. I’ve worked in the music business for 28 years and had decent success....have worked in well over 20 studios and used virtually all kinds of technology. not good tech at all. Playing something one second and hearing it the next is nothing other than useless. It also crashes. is even more useless. It has not been updated for over a year ... so NI have clearly given up on this, and I can understand why. Do not bother. I want to buy their actual Maschine this week and hope it’s better than this!
  • Won’t load again

    By Nanayawasare
I’ve deleted it because it won’t load again after several attempts. Waste of money. We should be able to label pad to know what’s where.

    No longer usable
  • Expansion packs missing

    By Insey Rinsey
I bought this as it was supposed to come with all of the free expansion packs but I just keep getting a message saying not available at this time. Complete waste of money. Get your act sorted instead of releasing useless apps.
  • Blank pads, go figure.

    By Nkersov
With no way to name pads, how are users supposed to remember what sound is assigned to what pad? Rivals Novation and BeatHawk do so much better in this respect. Why can't iMaschine offer the same? I am actually out off using this, because it's interface is a guessing game. Nic
  • Terrible

    By Flexinoodle
No AU, poor support, no real relation to the desktop version, don't waste your money.
  • Great app, have used it for years.

But please, please, please change the BPM settings so that there are at least 2 decimal points. This is the one thing I have always wished was changed, I use my own music and recordings of vocals etc and sample them through the app but getting the pitches aligned is impossible without being able to fine tune the overall BPM....
  • Great app ! good for mobility anywhere.

Amazing application Minor defect - if you would like to export to SoundCloud while being logged in with the old credentials if you have changed them will get stuck and lose all data you want to export if you have not saved it. Please add in the user field an option to log into SoundCloud and log out. Otherwise a great app no concerns from my side. Many Thanks
